The original Tooraweenah Honor Rolls hang in the Tooraweenah War Memorial Hall. A new War Memorial now stands in the Recreation Grounds.
The Tooraweenah War Memorial records the names of the local men who ‘Answered Their Country’s Call’ in World War One. Of the 59 enlistees and the five men who were not accepted, there were 14 who made the ultimate sacrifice and did not return.
ANDREWS Private Samuel Charles 6029 enlisted on 19 September 1916 and served with the 24th Battalion. He was killed in action in France on 9 October 1917
ANDREWS Private John Henry 6030 enlisted on 22 September 1916 and served in the 24th Battalion. John returned to Australia on 23 March 1919.
ANDREWS Driver Henry Edward 1674 enlisted 3 August 1915 and served with the Light Horse in Egypt and Palestine. He returned to Australia in May 1919.

COLAN Lance Corporal John 391 enlisted on 18 August 1914. He served with the 2nd Battalion at Gallipoli, Egypt and Palestine. He returned to Australia on 26 January 1919.
DAWSON Henry was in training camp at Liverpool when he died on 11 January 1915, shortly after he enlisted. He is buried in Liverpool Cemetery, Sydney.
DAWSON John 2466 enlisted 3 January 1916 and served in Egypt and Palestine with the Light Horse, Camel Corps and Bridging Train. He returned to Australia 3 July 1919.

HOWE Gunner William Vincent 18877 enlisted on 5 December 1915. He served in France with the 7th Field Artillery Brigade and returned to Australia on 16 January 1919.
IRVIN Driver William 1893 was the first to enlist on 10 August 1915. He trained with the 6th Light Horse in Egypt and served with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade in France. He returned to Australia and was discharged on 3 August 1919.

MAGUIRE Private Ernest Bartholomew 244 enlisted on 9 May 1915 and served in Gallipoli and Egypt with the 2nd Battalion. He returned to Australia 11 April 1916, to be discharged medically unfit.
MCGILL Lance Corporal Roy Alva 6097 enlisted on 19 September 1916. He served with the 24th Battalion and was killed in action on 5 October 1918 in France.
MCKENNA Private Claud 6592 enlisted on 6 March 1916 and served in France with the 1st Battalion. He returned to Australia on 12 July 1919.

MURRAY Private James Ambrose 2208 enlisted on 16 November 1915 and served in France with the 21st Field Artillery Brigade. He died of disease on 13 September 1917.
OWENS Archibald 1925 enlisted on 21 August 1915 and served in Egypt and Palestine with the 6th Light Horse and the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade. He returned to Australia on 20 April 1919.
OWENS Private Charles Allen 2360 enlisted on 11 December 1915 and served in Egypt and Palestine with the 14th Light Horse and the Camel Corps. He returned to Australia on 24 July 1919.
OWENS Private Ernest Henry 6103 enlisted on 19 September 1916 and served with the 24th Battalion. He was killed in action in France on 5 October 1918.
PARKER Private William Charles 2081 enlisted on 22 August 1915 and served with the 55th Battalion on the Western Front. He returned to Australia on 13 December 1918.
PEACOCK Trooper Osborne Depot enlisted on 22 August 1915. He died in Sydney of cerebro-spinal meningitis on 12 December 1915.
